Internship is available to candidates local to the Greenville, South Carolina area. Housing is not provided.


Responsibilities include:

  • 3D modeling of products, tooling or fixtures using 3D CAD Software tools.
  • Participate in design review meetings.
  • Assist engineering team with creation of test fixtures and production release drawings.
  • Execute Data migration with help of 3D CAD tools (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, CREO)
  • PLM data creation and migration for component and product information.
  • Performance testing of products against customer or internal requirements
  • Document test results while providing regular status reports.
  • Assist with sample builds and part evaluation as needed.
  • Support standardization efforts in all areas of the RFQ-Process and documentations
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Extended working hours may be required according to business needs

Job requirements

  • Bachelor or Master Student, preferably Mechanical / Mechatronic Engineering or equivalent field.
  • Experience in 3D CAD Software like Autodesk Inventor or Solid works is desired.
  • Experience in operating CNC milling machines, Drill presses and other power tools is a plus.
  • Self-motivated. Positive work attitude, Structured and organized work ethic, Eager to learn and strong attention to detail.
  • Well versed in MS EXCEL and other Microsoft Office applications.
  • Language skills: good, self-confident conversational English, Spanish language skills is a plus.
